03 — About Mitch

Eighteen years of judgement, sharpened on real jobs.

Mitch Evans started as a carpenter, signed off his apprenticeship in three years, and worked across remote and metropolitan projects from Hamilton Island to the Northern Territory before stepping into contracts and project management.

A QUT-honours graduate, Mitch has run multi-storey residential and mixed-use builds across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, from $11m townhouse estates through to $38m coastal towers. Operon Group is the platform for that experience, and for the broader operational support work Operon delivers across South East Queensland.
